I don’t have a sister in real life but DD gave me that vibe: Actor Jiiva
Actor Jiiva, who plays one of the male leads in ‘Coffee with Kadhal’, says DD, who plays his twin sister in the film, gave him that vibe.
Actor Jiiva, who plays one of the three male leads in director Sundar C’s upcoming feel-good entertainer, ‘Coffee with Kadhal’, says that popular anchor and actress Divyadarshini better known as DD, who plays his twin sister in the film, gave him that vibe.
Participating in the audio and trailer launch of the film, the actor disclosed, ” I don’t have a sister in real life. For someone without a sister, to act like you have a sister itself is quite challenging. But DD gave me that vibe. Thanks to DD. You will have to hundred per cent look for our performances.”
The actor extended his gratitude to the Director and mentioned him as a ‘Producer’s Director’.
“I call him a producer’s director not because he looks to save money during shoots. Sundar sir has this logic that no matter how big a story you intend to tell, it has to be shot in a period of within 45 days. It is only then the quality of the product will be good. When you leave his sets, you leave with a sense of satisfaction that you have done a job well,” he said.
The film, which is a romantic comedy with three heroes — Srikanth, Jiiva and Jai — and six heroines — Samyuktha, Raiza Wilson, Divyadarshini, Malavika Sharma, Aishwarya Dutta and Amritha Iyer — will be a complete entertainer that is scheduled to hit screens the world over on October 7.
