Kamal Haasan has had the courage to stick his neck out: Kejiriwal

Delhi Chief Minister and Aam Aadmi Party Chief Arvind Kejiriwal has called Kamal Haasan a person of integrity and courage.
The politician, who flew to Chennai to call on the actor at his Alwarpet residence, had an hour long meeting with the star during which period he invited Kamal to join the fight against corruption.
Arvind Kejiriwal, who addressed a press conference after the meeting with Kamal, said, “I have always been a great fan of Kamal Haasanji- both as an actor and as an individual. Kamal Haasanji enjoys a reputation of integrity and courage. It is important at this point of time in the country, when the country is facing strong forces of corruption and communalism all across that all like minded people should talk to each other on these issues and should work in tandem with each other.”
“I was very happy when I learnt that there are a large number of people in this country who are honest, who feel strongly against communalism and communal forces which are going around in the country. But rarely do people have the courage to stick their necks out. And Kamal Haasan happens to be one of them.He has stuck his neck out and has decided that he would rather than curse from outside, enter politics.
“We had a very good meeting. We exchanged our ideas and that was the purpose I came for. I came down to discuss the ideas with him. We had an excellent meeting and we will also continue to discuss and meet each other in future also. I thank him for the warm hospitality,” Kejiriwal said.
