Telugu actor Nandamuri Kalyan Ram has joined hands with director Naveen Medaram for his 21st film which is being produced by Abhishek Nama’s Abhishek Pictures.
The film’s first-look poster, that is out now, has caught the attention of film buffs, not just for the star’s look in it but also for its title.
Yes,the film is titled Devil and has a tagline that reades ‘The British Secret Agent’.
Sources close to the unit of the film say that the story of the film, set in 1945 in the Madras Presidency Of British India, revolves around a British secret agent who takes up the job of solving a dark mystery.
Says a source, “The mystery he chooses to solve gets darker and deeper than what it appears at first. It leads him into a web of love, deceit and betrayal. The stakes are high for the agent as both His success and failure could have serious repercussions. More importantly, the agent realises that the mystery has the potential to change the course of history.”
Srikanth Vissa, the writer of Pushpa, has penned the story of Devil. Harshavardhan Rameshwar has scored its BGM.
Kalyan Ram will be seen in this unusual role of a British secret agent. Devil is being made as a Pan India project on a lavish budget with high technical standards in Telugu, Hindi, Tamil and Kannada.
