No banners, cut-outs for Action’s release, Vishal tells fans
Even as his film Action gears up for release this Friday, Actor Vishal, who has been shuttling between London and Chennai for his film’s shoots and promotions, has made an appeal to his fans, asking them not to put up his banners or cut outs.
Vishal, who has been shooting for Mysskin’s Thupparivalan 2 in London, recently made a brief visit to Chennai to promote Sundar C’s Action which hits the screens this Friday. The film, made at a whopping cost of Rs 55 crore and shot extensively in Azerbaijan, features Tamannaah, Akanksha Puri, Chaya Singh and Aishwarya Lakshmi in the lead along with Vishal.
Under these circumstances, it has now emerged that Vishal has made an appeal to his fans asking them not to erect banners, hoardings or cut outs during the release of his film. Apparently, the star has asked his fans to spend that money on the welfare of the poor.
Vishal Makkal Nala Iyakkam State Secretary Harikrishnan, in a statement, said, “As actor Vishal’s request, we urge fans not to put up banners, cut-outs and flags during the release of Action as it could inconvenience the public.”
It may be recalled that all top Tamil actors have been asking their fans not to put up banners and cut outs ever since a young woman techie lost her life in a mishap caused by an illegally erected banner of the AIADMK.
