Sivakarthikeyan’s ‘Amaran’ to release on October 31 for Deepavali
The film, which is a biopic of one of India’s bravehearts, Major Mukund Varadharajan, has been jointly produced by RaajKamal Films International (RKFI) & Sony Pictures International Productions.
Director Rajkumar Periasamy’s Amaran, featuring actor Sivakarthikeyan in the lead, will hit screens on October 31, 2024 for Deepavali, its makers announced on Wednesday.
The film, which is a biopic of one of India’s bravehearts, Major Mukund Varadharajan, has been jointly produced by RaajKamal Films International (RKFI) & Sony Pictures International Productions.
The Tamil Nadu theatrical distribution rights of the film has been bought by Red Giant Movies.
Along with Sivakarthikeyan, Sai Pallavi plays the lead. Music for the film is by G V Prakash and art direction is by Sekar. Cinematography is by CH Sai and editing is by R. Kalaivanan.
The film is based on the chapter ‘Major Varadharajan’ from the book titled India’s Most Fearless, written by Shiv Aroor and Rahul Singh.
The film’s OTT rights have been bagged by Netflix.
