Actor Atharvaa’s brother Akash weds actor Vijay’s film producer’s daughter

Actor Atharvaa Murali’s younger brother Akash on Monday wed Sneha Britto, the daughter of producer Xavier Britto, at a ceremony that was attended by friends and family of the couple.

The ceremony, a private affair, was held between 3 pm to 4 pm at a private resort in Thirukazhukundram, ECR, Chennai, with all safety precautions.

Actor Atharvaa Murali and Producer Xavier Britto, in a joint statement, said, “We are extremely elated to announce that the wedding ceremony took place successfully with the blessings and wishes of everyone in the family. We wanted to make this occasion more joyful as an everlasting memory for both our families by inviting everyone but couldn’t carry on accordingly due to the pandemic issue.

“Eventually, it forced us to conduct this ceremony as a private affair with just our family members and friends taking part. But we are eagerly looking forward to inviting every member of the film fraternity and the media for the reception, which we are planning to host once the situation gets back to normal. We also solicit the blessings of one and all in their everlasting journey of togetherness.”

The wedding, which was solemnised last year, was supposed to be held earlier this year. However, with the Covid 19 pandemic throwing life out of gear, the wedding had to be postponed and was eventually held on August 24.

Producer Xavier Britto’s daughter, Sneha Britto, is herself a director. Interestingly, Xavier Britto, a close relative of actor Vijay, is also the producer of his upcoming film Master.
