The trailer begins with Rangraya Sakthivel (Kamal Haasan), telling a kid, “You are someone who saved my life. You have reclaimed my life from the God of Death. Our two destinies were written as one. You and I are now bound together as one. Till the very end.”

We soon get to know that the child’s name is Amaran (Simbu). Amaran soon turns like a son to Rangaraya Sakthivel. In fact, he is twice as good as Rangaraya Sakthivel.
