Actor Vishal, who at the moment holds two of the most powerful positions in the Tamil film industry namely the President of the Tamil Film Producers Council and the Secretary of the Nadigar Sangam, is to realise his long term dream of becoming a director.

If sources are to be believed,  the actor will be making his debut as a director in January next year.

Says a source, “Vishal will be making a film that will  focus on dogs. In particular, the film will focus on stray dogs. The shooting of the film will begin in January next year. At the moment, the actor is  busy working on Ayogya. ”

Ayogya, which is being directed by Venkat Mohan and produced by Madhu, has Rashi Khanna, who played the heroine in Imaikaa Nodigal,  as its female lead.

It will be interesting to see how Vishal manages to act, direct and also take care of the affairs of two of the most powerful bodies of the film industry, namely the Nadigar Sangam and the Tamil Film Producers Council.
