Actress Aishwarya Rai, daughter Aaradhya too test positive for Covid 19

Actress Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and her daughter Aaradhya too have tested positive for the dreaded Covid 19 virus that has left the world rattled.

Yesterday, one of Bollywood’s top actors Amitabh Bachchan and his son Abhishek Bachchan confirmed that they had both tested positive for Covid 19.

Both actors had taken to their Twitter pages to confirm that they had been infected by the dreaded virus.

Amitabh, in his post, said, “I have tested CoviD positive .. shifted to Hospital .. hospital informing authorities .. family and staff undergone tests , results awaited ..All that have been in close proximity to me in the last 10 days are requested to please get themselves tested!”

Abhishek said, “Earlier today, both my father and I tested positive for COVID 19. Both of us having mild symptoms have been admitted to hospital. We have informed all the required authorities and our family and staff are all being tested. I request all to stay calm and not panic. Thank you.The BMC has been in touch and we are complying with them.”

Both Amitabh and Abhishek were taken to the Nanavati Super Speciality hospital in Mumbai where they have been undergoing treatment.

It is under these circumstances that it has now emerged that Amitabh’s daughter-in- law, Aishwarya Rai, and her daughter Aaradhya too have been infected by Corona.

Amitabh’s wife Jaya Bachchan, their daughter Shweta Bachchan Nanda and her children Navya Naveli Nanda and Agastya Nanda are uninfected.
