Kamal Haasan, Vijay Sethupathi-starrer Vikram goes on floors!

The shooting of one of the most anticipated films of the year, Vikram, featuring actors Kamal Haasan, Vijay Sethupathi and Fahad Faasil in the lead, began in Chennai today.

Kamal Haasan and Vijay Sethupathi were among those present at the launch of the film. The first shot of the film, being directed by Lokesh Kanakaraj, was one that involved actors Vijay Sethupathi and Kamal Haasan.

Fahad Faasil, sources say, was not present at the event and added that he would join the unit later.

The film, whose story, screenplay and direction are by Lokesh Kanakaraj, has its dialogues jointly penned by Rathinakumar and Lokesh Kanakaraj.

Girish Gangadharan is the cameraman of the film, which has music by Anirudh. Philomin Raj is the editor of the film, which is being produced by Kamal Haasan’s Rajkamal films International.
