Kerala police questions Kavya Madhavan
Sources say that the actress may well be questioned again in connection with the Actress Assault case
The Kerala Police on Tuesday questioned actress Kavya Madhavan, the wife of actor Dileep, who has been arrested in connection with a case pertaining to the kidnap and sexual assault of a popular south Indian actress.
The cops interrogated the actress at Dileep’s ancestral home in Aluva on Tuesday for the first time.
Sources in the industry say that a team led by ADGP Sandhya interrogated the actress for several hours. Questions, sources claim, revolved around the mobile that was used to shoot pictures of the crime and the memory card in which the videos and pictures of the assault were stored.
It may be recalled that the main suspect in the case, Pulsar Suni, had allegedly confessed to cops that he had handed over the memory card to a person working at Kavya Madhavan’s boutique Laksyah. However, the cops haven’t been able to recover both the mobile and the memory card so far.
The police, at this point, are tight-lipped about whether they believe Kavya Madhavan too was an accomplice. Sources suggest that the police may interrogate Kavya Madhavan again.
