Raghava Lawrence to announce decision to join Rajini’s outfit on January 7

Raghava Lawrence has postponed his announcement as he has had to rush to attend the last rites of a fan who passed away

Actor Raghava Lawrence, who had said that he would be making his decision of turning a ‘Kavalan’ (protector) in Rajinikanth’s political outfit public on Thursday, January 4, has now postponed the announcement to January 7.

The actor, in a statement to the media, said that he had had plans to make this announcement on January 4 but because he had to rush to attend the death of a fan in Cuddalore, he was postponing this announcement to January 7.

Raghava Lawrence said, “Friends and fans, (I have some) sad news. My biggest fan R Shekhar has passed away. He is married and his wife is pregnant. I got this sad news while I was shooting last night. I am starting to Cuddalore now as I wish to be near and do all the formalities. I cancelled my shooting for two days as well. I was about to make an announcement as Thalaivar’s Kavalan on January 4 but unfortunately, I will not be able to make the announcement. Therefore, the official announcement will be made on January 7  in Madurai as I will be attending Thalaivar’s fans’ function there. I will be making the announcement before Thalaivar’s fans there. Without my fans, I would not be in this position. I miss my wonderful fan. Please pray for his soul to rest in peace.”
