Shocking! Popular Kannada actor Chiranjeevi Sarja dies of heart attack!
Well known Kannada actor Chiranjeevi Sarja, who happens to be the nephew of popular Tamil actor Arjun Sarja, died of a heart attack at a private hospital in Bangalore today. He was just 39.
Well known Kannada actor Chiranjeevi Sarja, who happens to be the nephew of popular Tamil actor Arjun Sarja, died of a heart attack at a private hospital in Bangalore today.
He was just 39.
The young actor, who is the nephew of well known Tamil star Arjun Sarja, has acted in over 20 Kannada films.
Chiranjeevi Sarja is survived by his wife Meghana Raj, who is a well known actress in both Kannada and Tamil. The couple were married only a couple of years ago in 2018.
Sources close to the actor say that he complained of severe chest pain and respiratory problems on Saturday.
He was rushed to a hospital in Jayanagar, where doctors attempted to revive him. Unfortunately, they couldn’t succeed.
Chiranjeevi’s throat swab samples have been sent for testing. The results are awaited.
Chiranjeevi Sarja, who made his debut in 2009 with Vayuputra, has acted in over 20 films including his last released film Shivarjuna which hit screens just before the lockdown.

Several actors cutting across different film industries expressed shock and disbelief on hearing the news. They also expressed their deepest condolences to the friends and family members of the actor.
Actress Sanjana Galrani tweeted, ” Cannot believe and I’m in immense shocking state of mind to know that Chiranjeevi Sarja is no more. Very, very saddening. My condolences to his family and Meghana Raj at this time of pain and sorrow.Cannot yet digest this fact. My hands are shivering as I write this message. Very very sad.”
Actress Khushbu Sundar, who is a popular Tamil heroine, tweeted, “Unbelievable! Terrible..Shellshocked to hear the demise of such a young Kannada actor Chiranjeevi Sarja, nephew of Arjun Sarja, due to cardiac arrest at 39. He was so talented and doing so well. Heart goes out to his young wife and his family. May you rest in peace Chiru.”
