The team of the Mahesh Babu-starrer Bharat Ane Nenu released the first song of the film on Twitter on Sunday morning.
Needless to say, the song was an instant hit, with fans loving every word of the number. Titled Bharat Ane Nenu (The Song of Bharat), the song got an impressive response with almost four-and-a-half lakh people viewing it and with over 60,000 hitting the like button for it.
Both the music by Devi Sri Prasad and the lyrics by Ramajogayya Shastry came in for deep appreciation from music lovers. The song, a solemn and gripping number, has been rendered with authority by David Simon. Many said that the lyrics were deep and admitted that the song’s lyrics are deep and that it had got them thinking, both about life and also about the content of the film. It is evident that the number has raised expectations from the film.
At around 10 am on Sunday, actor Mahesh Babu tweeted, the link to the song in YouTube and said, “The Song of Bharat is here.” Within an hour, almost 8000 people had expressed love for the number and over 3200 people had retweeted his link.
The link was also put out by the film’s director Koratala Siva at almost the same time with almost the same result.
The film has Kiara Alia Advani playing the female lead. It also has cinematographer Tirru handling the camera and Sreekar Prasad handling the editing. Suresh Selvarajan is in charge of the art direction department.
