Ajith’s Vivegam to hit screens on August 10?
Rumours doing the rounds suggest that the team is likely to announce August 10 as the release date of Vivegam
The latest rumour that is doing the rounds in the industry is that director Siva’s upcoming film, Vivegam, which features actor Ajith Kumar, Kajal Aggarwal, Akshara Haasan and Vivek Oberoi in the lead, is likely to hit screens on August 10.
The reason for this is that this weekend will be an extended one with two important events falling on Monday and Tuesday of the following week. Janmashtami or Krishna Jayanthi as it is better known is to be celebrated on Monday (August 14 ) and Independence Day (August 15 ) is to be celebrated on Tuesday.
This means that the public will get four consecutive holidays. Looking to cash in on this celebratory mood, the team is looking to release the film on August 10. However, sources in the industry cite director Siva as having said that they are only discussing the possible date of release and that nothing had been finalised as yet.
