Sony Music buys audio rights of Velaikkaran
This is the second time that Sony Music South is buying the audio rights of a film produced by 24 AM Studios
Sony Music has grabbed the audio rights of director Mohan Raja’s upcoming film, Velaikkaran.
The film has huge expectations riding on it as it features Sivakarthikeyan and Nayanthara as the lead pair. To add to that, the film also has Fahaadh Faasil playing a character with shades of grey in it.
Sony Music South made the announcement this morning through its Twitter handle. It said, “We gave you the most loved album of 2016 – Remo. We are back in 2017 with Vellaikkaran, an Anirudh Musical.”
Interestingly, both films –Remo and Velaikkaran– have been produced by 24 AM Studios.
