Taking to social media to voice his opinion against the web series and Amazon Prime, he said that he would unsubcribe and not subscribe to Amazon Prime until the OTT platform stopped airing the web series, which features Manoj Bajpayee, Samantha Akkineni and Priyamani in the lead. The manner in which Tamil politicians have been showcased in the series also hasn’t been to the liking of Tamil groups. A sequence in one of the episodes of the series that protrays a Tamil leader as being a puppet of the rebels, willing to carry out their wishes with regard to passing resolutions in the Indian Parliament, has irked them. Apart from this, Tamil activists have taken exception to quite a few other sequences in the series.
