If all goes well, the dispute between Producer R B Choudhary and actor Vishal over misplaced promisory notes, bonds and cheques might soon be resolved.

Yes, producer R B Choudhary, against whom actor Vishal has lodged a police complaint after the producer failed to return cheques, bonds and promissory notes he had taken as guarantee to give the actor a loan for his film Irumbu Thirai , has clarified that he is at present out of station and that he would resolve the issue as soon as he came back to town.

Yesterday, actor Vishal had taken to Twitter to announce that he had filed a police complaint against Producer R B Choudhary. Vishal, in his tweet, said, “It’s unacceptable that Mr #RBChoudhary failed to return the Cheque Leaves,Bonds & Promissory Notes months after repaying the loan to him for the Movie #IrumbuThirai,he was evading giving excuses & finally told he has misplaced the documents. We have lodged a complaint with Police.”

Soon after this, Producer R B Choudhary, in an interview to a vernacular publication, responded to the allegation.

He reportedly said that Vishal had borrowed a particular sum of money from both well known distributor Tiruppur Subramaniam and himself for the film, Irumbu Thirai. As is the case with lending money, certain documents were taken from Vishal as a guarantee during this deal. These documents were in the custody of director Sivakumar of Ayudha Poojai fame, who unfortunately, passed away after suffering a heart attack.

Choudhary has claimed that as a result of this, they have been unable to trace the documents that were taken from Vishal.

The producer has clarified that they have however given Vishal a document that certifies that he has cleared his dues to them. However, Vishal,he said, was worried if the misplaced documents could cause a problem for him in the future.

The producer said that he would resolve the issue as soon as he got back to town.
