Mari Selvaraj to direct Dhanush again after Karnan’s success

Director Mari Selvaraj, whose film Karnan was a roaring blockbuster, is to again join hands with actor Dhanush K Raja for his next film.

Actor Dhanush confirmed this piece of information through a tweet on his official handle.

He tweeted, “Elated to announce that after the blockbuster success of Karnan, Mari Selvaraj and myself are joining hands once again. Pre production going on, Shoot will commence next year.”

Mari Selvaraj, who first shot to limelight with his debut film, Pariyaerum Perumal, followed it up with Karnan, another film based on a real life incident that occurred in the southern part of TN in the nineties.

All of Mari Selvaraj’s films have gone on to emerge as blockbusters so far.

The director responded to Dhanush’s tweet saying, “To my Karnan Dhanush, everlasting thanks and love.”
