Chennai, November 21, 2022: Director Mari Selvaraj, best known for having delivered back-to-back superhits such as ‘Pariyerum Perumal’ and ‘Karnan’, today began work on his fourth film titled ‘Vaazhai’.
Interestingly, Mari Selvaraj is not only directing the film but also producing it along with Divya Mari Selvaraj on behalf of Navvi Studios.
Member of Legislative Assembly (MLA) and leading Tamil film actor Udhayinidhi Stalin launched the film by clapping the first shot.
Mari Selvaraj has begun work on his fourth film even as work on his third film, ‘Maamannan’, featuring actor Udhayanidhi Stalin in the lead, is progressing at a brisk pace.
The upcoming film will be a children’s film and will feature children in the lead. Actors Kalaiyarasan, Nikhila Vimal and Divya Duraisamy will be seen playing pivotal roles in the film.
On the technical front, Theni Eswar has been roped in as the director of photography for ‘Vaazhai’, which will have music by Santhosh Naryanan. Kumar Gangappan will be the film’s art director and Surya Pradhaman will be its editor.
