Actor Kamal Haasan has taken a veiled potshot at the ruling All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (AIADMK).
Although the star did not mention so, it was obvious that his latest tweet was the result of his thoughts on the meger of the two factions of the AIADMK, which is in power in the state.
Kamal tweeted in Tamil, “Gandhi Kulla! Kaavi Kulla! Kashmir Kulla!! Tharpodhu Komazhikulla, Tamizhan Thalaiyil, Podhuma Innum Venduma? Thayavai Veguzhvai Tamizha.”
His tweet in English means, “Gandhi Hat, Saffron hat, Kashmir hat! Now, a clown’s hat on the head of Tamils. Enough or do you want more? Kindly erupt Tamizha.”
In Tamil, foisiting a ‘kulla’ or a hat on one’s head means conning them. It is no secret that the AIADMK government and the actor have been trading allegations against one another in the recent past.
