Lokesh Kanakaraj to direct actor Vijay again!

If one is to go by what actor and producer Chitra Lakshmanan says, it looks like director Lokesh Kanakaraj, who just delivered the hit film Master, will again be directing actor Vijay.

Until now, fans were eager to know who would be directing Vijay’s next film, tentatively titled #Thalapathy66.

Now, producer Chitra Lakshmanan in a video interview has confirmed that Lokesh Kanakaraj will be that person.

Lakshmanan said, “I wish to give fans of actor Vijay the latest update about his upcoming film. I had already informed you all that Vijay’s next film will be produced by Thenandal Murali. Vijay had told Murali that this film will be one with a compact budget . Until now, there was suspense over who would be directing this compact budget film. Now, it has been confirmed that Lokesh Kanakaraj will be the director who will be directing this film for Thenandal Murali.

“I must say that Murali is lucky for two reasons. One, it is a known fact in the industry that when a producer joins hands with the very same team that has just given him a big hit, the second film too invariably ends up being a hit. Lokesh Kanakaraj has just delivered a big hit called Master with Vijay. Secondly, Lokesh Kanakaraj is a director who will stick to his budget. He will not make any unnecessary expenses.”

Needless to say, the news is making fans of actor Vijay fans go berserk with joy.
