A 31-year-old man had to be rushed to a private hospital after he suffered an electric shock on the sets of Superstar Rajinikanth’s film, Kaala Karikalan, here on Wednesday.
Sources close to the unit of the film identified the man as Rajesh, a member of the Art direction unit that is working to erect a huge set for Rajinikanth’s Kaala Karikaalan at EVP Park at Pazhanjoor near Poonamallee.
They said that Rajesh was busy erecting the set with other members of the Art direction unit, when he stepped on a live wire lying on the ground. Rajesh has been rushed to a private hospital nearby and sources say his condition is critical.
Meanwhile, Rajinikanth is all set to head back to Mumbai as director Ranjith wishes to reshoot certain sequences with him there. The superstar will be there for a week before returning to Chennai.
