Now, comedian Chandrababu’s life to be made into a Tamil film!
The life and times of well known yesteryear comedian Chandrababu is now being made into a film.
If sources in the industry are to be believed, the film, which has been titled, JP: The Legend of Chandrababu, is based on the novel by author K Rajeshwar. The author, who has already directed several yesteryear hits like Idhayathamarai, Amaran and Kovilpatti Veeralakshmi will be directing this film himself.
The team is in talks with several top stars to play the roles of former Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M G Ramachandran, Sivaji Ganesan, Gemini Ganesan, Savithri Kannadasan and M S Viswanathan in the film.
A particular top actor has been approached to play the lead role of Chandrababu. This apart, the team is also on the lookout for artistes to play the characters of political stalwarts like Kamaraj and Va. Vu. Si. in the film.
Actress Kutty Padmini has taken up the responsibility of producing this film by becoming the executive producer of a popular production house along with Russia Thangappan, K Rajeshwar and R V Swaminathan, who are producing the film on behalf of Ruro International.
