Rajini takes Karunanidhi’s blessings for political journey!

Superstar Rajinikanth called on Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam Chief M Karunanidhi at his Gopalpuram residence tonight.

Rajini was received by DMK leader M K Stalin at Karunanidhi’s residence, where he spent around 20 minutes talking to the veteran leader.

After meeting Karunanidhi, Rajini spoke to waiting mediapersons. He said that the meeting was one of political courtesy. Rajini said he briefed Karunanidhi about his political journey and that he took his blessings. “I wished him a happy new year and enquired about his health,” Rajini told reporters.

Stalin, who was present when Rajinikanth met Karunanidhi, said that Rajinikanth had met the veteran DMK leader out of political courtesy. “There is nothing to be surprised about this meeting. This isn’t the first time that Rajini is calling on Karunanidhi,” Stalin said. Stalin said that just like how Vijaykanth had, out of courtesy, called on Karunanidhi while starting a party, Rajini too had called on the political leader.
