The Rajini Makkal Mandram, the movement which Superstar Rajinikanth hopes to convert into his political party later, has trashed rumours doing the rounds that Superstar Rajinikanth had expelled former creative director of Lyca, Raju Mahalingam, from his political movement.

Earlier today, rumours began doing the rounds that Rajinikanth had met and expelled Raju Mahalingam, the man who had resigned from his position as Creative Director in Lyca to join Rajini’s political movement, after a confrontation.

Rajini, it was said, had confronted Raju Mahalingam for allegedly misappropriating Mandram funds.

There were also rumours about how Rajini had instructed his office-bearers not to have anything to do with Raju and that the Superstar had told Raju never to meet him ever again.

However, soon after these rumours began doing the rounds, the Rajini Makkal Mandram issued a clarification saying that they were baseless.

In a statement, Rajini Makkal Mandram Head V M Sudhakar said, “There are rumours on social media suggesting that Raju Mahalingam has been expelled from the Rajini Makkal Mandram. As this news is false, we request you all not to believe this information.”
