Sri Reddy triggers a storm in Kollywood; Names director A R Murugadoss, actor Srikanth

Actress Sri Reddy, who says she is on a mission to get justice for women who face sexual exploitation in the Telugu film industry, has now levelled serious charges against Tamil director A R Murugadoss and Tamil actor Srikanth

Sri Reddy, who shot to fame by stripping in public to protest the inaction of the Movie Artistes’ Association against the menace of casting couch, triggered a storm in the Telugu film world by disclosing the identities of certain top directors and actors who she claimed had sexually exploited her after promising her film opportunities.

Abhiram Daggubatti, the son of Producer Suresh Babu and the brother of Rana Daggubati, and actor Nani, were among those who were named by the actress. Actor Nani, however, chose to respond by filing a defamation suit against the actress. He sent her a legal notice asking for an apology within seven days of receiving his notice. However, Sri Reddy has so far remained unperturbed about the notice, saying that she will fight the case out in court.

Now, after having leveled allegations against those in the Telugu industry, the actress has now begun naming those in the Tamil film industry.

She took to Facebook to make these allegations. The first name that she has disclosed from the Tamil film industry is that of ace director A R Murugadoss.

On her Facebook wall, Sri Reddy said, “Hi Tamil director murugadas ji..h r U??U remember green park hotel??we met through veligonda Srinivas..U promised me a role. But we had lot of …, till now u didn’t offer me anything..U r also a great person sir..”

She then named actor Srikanth in another post. Posting a picture of Srikanth, she wrote, “5years bk I guess hope u remember the celebrity cricket league party in Hyderabad at the park hotel..i love the way u eat my p..sy.. u promised a role when we dance together in club..u remember ??#tamilleaks”

The sensational allegations have triggered a storm in the Tamil film industry and it looks like the storm is not likely to die down any time soon.
