Marvel Studios’ ‘The Marvels’, which will be an out-and-out women-centric film, is to hit Indian screens for Deepavali this year.

The film is to release in English, Hindi, Tamil and Telugu.

Recently, the makers released the trailer of the film, which began trending on YouTube’s top 10, just a few hours after it was released.

Interestingly, this is Marvel Studios’ first female-led superhero film. In this trailer, Captain Marvel (Brie Larson), Ms. Marvel (Iman Vellani) and Monica Rambeau (Teyonah Parris) are seen together in a tangled mess of powers, trying to ward off cosmic evil forces threatening every place they call home.

As the trailer unfolds, we witness an Avenger soaring through the skies once more, ready to embark on a mission to save the world. Ms.Marvel takes us by surprise with her sudden transformation from a calm living room setting to a spectacular flight across the sky.

The powerful all-women trio unites to go higher, further, faster.
