Trisha’s loss is Aishwarya Rajesh’s gain

It’s confirmed! Actress Aishwarya Rajesh will play the role earmarked for actress Trisha in Saamy Square, the sequel to the blockbuster Saamy.

The team took the decision to replace Trisha after she chose to walk out of the project.

A few months ago, director Hari announced that he would be making a sequel to the blockbuster Saamy with Vikram, Keerthy Suresh and Trisha playing the lead.

However, a few days after working on the film, Trisha chose to walk out of the film. Sources close to the unit said that the actress had made the decision to walk out as she was unhappy with the screen space she was being accorded in the film.

Trisha announced her decision by tweeting that she was opting out of the project due to creative differences. “Due to creative differences, I have chosen to opt out of Saamy Square. Wishing the team goodluck,” she had then tweeted.

With Trisha choosing to abruptly walk out of the project, the film unit was in a dilemma. They lodged a complaint with the South Indian Artistes Association (SIAA), also known as the Nadigar Sangam against Trisha.

The Nadigar Sangam sent a notice to the actress, seeking an explanation as to why she had opted out of Saamy Square. Trisha explained her reasons for quitting the project.

With Trisha in no mood to return to the sets, the team had no other option but to pick another good actress in her place. They have chosen Aishwarya Rajesh, who has delivered several commendable performances earlier.
