Soorarai Pottru dialogue writer begins work on next film!

Uriyadi Vijay Kumar, who wrote, directed and acted in the critically acclaimed films Uriyadi and Uriyadi 2 and who also penned dialogues for Suriya’s Soorarai Pottru, has now begun shooting for his next film.

The film, which will be a lifestyle action drama, will be directed by debutant director Abbas and produced by Aditya of ‘Reel Good Films’.

What is interesting to note is that Abbas has worked as an assistant director in both parts of Uriyadi.

Actress Arsha makes her debut opposite Vijay Kumar.

The cast also includes actors Shankar Das, Avinash and Karthikeyan.

Leon Brito, who worked as an assistant cinematographer to renowned cinematographer Ravi Varman, makes his cinematic debut with this film.

Kirubakaran will oversee the editing work, and Vicky, who made his film debut with Uriyadi, will oversee fight sequences. Ezhumalai will be heading the art department

Govind Vasantha is to score the music for this film, the shooting of which started in Chennai today and is bound to go on for the next three months.
