Majith, the director of Vijay’s super hit film Tamizhan, had to be hospitalised after testing positive for Covid-19.

His family members got him admitted to a well known private hospital in Vadapalani where he was provided treatment.

The director made a complete recovery and was deemed fit to return home.

However, the director, to his misfortune, found that he did not have enough money to settle the hospital bills, which ran into lakhs. The director paid off a considerable amount of his bills but was still falling short by a considerable sum.

As he was unable to settle the bills, director Majith wasn’t discharged from the hospital.

His frantic calls for help to the Tamil film industry did not yield any results. Finally, one of the industry’s successful producers, Kotapadi J Rajesh, who is now producing Sivakarthikeyan’s Doctor, came to his rescue and settled his entire hospital bill.

Majith has now been discharged from the hospital. The director has expressed his heartfelt thanks to the producer for his timely help.
