Elizabeth Kumarimuthu, the eldest daughter of well known comedian Kumarimuthu, has disclosed the amount of humiliation the late actor was subjected to because of his squint eyes and how he converted his weakness into his strength to rise above others and make a mark in Tamil cinema.

In a video that she posted on Instagram, Elizabeth said, “Everybody around my dad including his relatives and friends would mock him because of his eyes.
“They would often insult him. In fact, there wasn’t a person who wouldn’t insult him by asking, “How can you make it big with squint eyes in cinema?
“But it was using the very same squint eyes that my dad rose to fame in cinema. He attained a great place using the very same problem that these people mocked him for.”
Kumarimuthu passed away in 2016 but not before making his mark in the Tamil film industry with some memorable performances. The actor, who has acted in over 700 films over a span of three decades, was known for his infectious laugh.
“What I want to share with people is that if you want to rise up in your life and attain an important position, please do not make fun of others’ mistakes or weaknesses. Don’t insult them,” Elizabeth said.
In another video on Instagram, Elizabeth pleaded with her viewers to speak words of kindness and love always.
