‘In my head, I am married to him already,’ says Samantha on her upcoming wedding to Naga Chaitanya

There is excitement in the air as the date for the wedding of actress Samantha Ruth Prabhu, one of the top actresses of the Tamil and Telugu film industries, with actor Naga Chaitanya draws nearer.

In fact, there has been extensive reporting in the media about the couple’s engagement and their plans for the wedding. The latest reports suggest that both Samantha and actor Naga Chaitanya have begun shopping for their wedding, which is slated to be held on October 6 this year.

However, the cool couple that they are, Samantha and Naga Chaitanya seem to be more than prepared to handle the pressures that accompany a wedding. This was evident from Samantha’s answer to a question from a fan on whether they were prepared for their wedding which is round the corner.

In her typical down-to-earth style, Samantha replied, “In my head I am married to him already. So I think everyone else is more excited than the both of us .”

As Samantha is a Christian and Nag Chaitanya is a Hindu, the couple intend to have a Christian wedding as well as a Hindu wedding. The wedding festivities are to take place over a period of three days.

Samantha and Nag Chaitanya, who is the son of Telugu superstar Nagarjuna, began their careers in Telugu together by acting in the film Ye Maaya Chesave. The two have always considered one another the best of friends and it was not until recently that they announced to the world that they were in love . In January this year, the couple got engaged with the blessings of both the families.
