Kerala HC turns down actor Dileep’s plea for bail again!
The actor has so far applied for bail thrice and all three pleas of his have been turned down by the courts.
The Kerala High Court has again turned down the bail plea of actor Dileep, who has been arrested for allegedly masterminding the kidnap and sexual assault of a popular south Indian actress by a gang of men in a moving car.
It may be recalled that this is the third time that a court has turned down a bail plea of the actor in this case.
The actor had first applied for bail in the case in a court in Angamaly. After his plea there was turned down, he chose to appeal in the High Court, which too chose to decline his request.
The actor chose to approach the High Court a second time, this time with a new lawyer and with a more detailed plea for bail. However, the court, this morning, rejected his bail application again.
The prosecution, which submitted a detailed list of fresh evidences, contended that granting bail to Dileep could hamper the probe as he was a man of influence.
Taking into consideration the prosecution’s plea, the court decided to decline the actor’s bail plea a second time.
