Producer claims Vivegam’s story is his; Puts out post on Facebook titled, ‘Height of Betrayal’

Producer Ravindar Chandrasekaran, who has produced three films in the Tamil film industry, has claimed that a considerable portion of the story of Ajith’s film, Vivegam, which is now running in theatres, is actually the story of his upcoming film I – na.

The producer, in a lengthy post titled Height of Betrayal on his Facebook account, has claimed that Ajith’s Vivegam is actually based on his content.

The producer said that he had come up with this story in 2013 and that he had narrated it to a close associate of actor Ajith Kumar. However, the associate, after taking three weeks time to get an appointment with Ajith, came back saying that Ajith would not do a film with a debutant and therefore a story narration session with Ajith would not be possible.

The producer said that  when he saw the film Vivegam, he realised that around 60 per cent of its content along with its screenplay was his.

Chandrasekaran, however, made it clear that he held neither actor Ajith nor director Siva responsible for what had happened. He said he held Ajith’s associate responsible for what had happened and demanded an apology from this person immediately.

Vivegam original content is my movie I – na.. It is designed 2013 and the story was narated to the close associate of Ajith kumar also submited a presentation . He took 3 weeks time to get an appointment but later he came back saying Ajith sir will not be doing with debut director so story narration is not possible.

When i watched the movie vivegam 60% of content be utilised with few screen play which was narrated by me. I strongly confirm and confess that it has nothing to deal with Director Siruthai siva sir nor Thala Ajith sir . Because i have not met them nor any communication has happen till now. So this story stolen was not via them only to Ajith Kumar associate who took me ride and made me in tears while watching movie vegam.

The intresting factor is begining of the movie there will be slide saying that all content where dream plot not realistic ..Insane, absolutely wrong i have done script long detailing and reasearch with real time incident with Tamil cinema commercial aspect for thala fan in this project I – na and pre production minimum time required is not less than 1.5 years.

This script was also narrated to major technicians who where upset calling me and asking regarding the creative stealing.

I admit now and agree tat pain of director and assistatnt director creative when it is stolen how hard and pain to digest. I salute you all people for still fighting with such risk in this industry. Being Producer, done 3 movies for me when am facing such betrayal..How a common creative hunter will cry if his effort is stolen.

Now my confess or bringing this information to lime light is not for any cheap publicity or for any means of expectation.

A simple appologise to me not even in public but he shud understand being with Thala mistake cannot happen.

Remember am so thala fan also this script much more designed and content driven for him.

I am not here to comment on vivegam quality . It is absolutely fabulous product from siva sir.

My project i- na shoot commencing on 2018 August as it needs own time on preproduction.

I appreciate if the person contact me asap and appologise before i go with evidential data to public ground. I respect the human Thala Ajith kumar so my conscious is not leting me public..other than pain which undergo also for future people shouldnt be hidden and cry saying who can question such issue.
