Singer S P Balasubrahmanyam in extremely critical condition!

The health condition of playback singer S P Balasubrahmanyam, who was admitted to the MGM Healthcare facility for Covid 19 treatment, has deteriorated drastically during the last 24 hours.

In a statement, Dr Anuradha Baskaran said, “Thiru S P Balasubrahmanyam, who had been admitted to the MGM Healthcare on August 5, remains on ECMO and other life support measures.

“His condition in the last 24 hours has deteriorated further warranting maximal life support and he is extremely critical.

“The team of experts at MGM Healthcare are closely monitoring his health condition.”

It may be recalled that S P Balasubramanhyam had only recently tested negative for Covid 19. The news had been received with great joy by his fans and well wishers.

However, the hospital management continued to keep in the intensive care unit to ensure that his recovery was complete.
