Bharat, the younger brother of Telugu star Ravi Teja, died in a road accident in Hyderabad on Saturday.
Sources say the mishap occurred on the Outer Ring Road (ORR) in Shamshabad when Bharat was on his way to Gachibowli. Media reports claimed that the 45-year-old Bharat rammed his car into the rear side of a truck that had been parked on the side of the road at around 10 pm.
Bharath, who has acted in a few films, was, at one point, arrested by the police for allegedly possessing cocaine.
The impact of the collision was so strong that sources say Bharath died on the spot. Media reports claimed that Bharath’s body was taken to the cremation ground straight from the mortuary. Also, except for Raghu, who is Ravi Teja’s youngest brother, no one else from the family was present at the funeral, they added.
